Get to know about emirates flight cancellation policy
Would you like to cancel your flight ticket on Emirates airlines? If yes, then go ahead and cancel the flight reservation. Emirates airlines allow you to cancel your flight reservation in a simple manner. Before proceeding to the flight cancellation, you should have some knowledge of the guidelines to cancel the flight ticket.
1. This airline allows passengers to cancel their flight tickets within 24 hours of the actual purchase when the flight departure is 7 or more days away without any cancellation charge. In these circumstances, you will get a full refund for the flight ticket.
2. If you have booked the tickets from the Emirates official website or from their ticket office or through their customer executives can only be canceled online and offline.
3. Flight tickets booked by travel agents can only be cancelled by them.
4. Based on the fare rules, type of ticket, destination, time of cancellation, and seat class, the amount of Cancellation Fee may apply which the passenger needs to give to cancel their tickets.
5. You will get a refund in seven business days in the same debit or credit card used to purchase the flight tickets.
6. Passengers can also choose the favoured mode of payment to get back their refund on the refund form.
7. Passengers can also receive a refund for non-refundable tickets in case of obligatory changes such as death or serious illness of passengers etc. but you need to submit certain documents for further procedures.
8. You will get a refund for an unused ticket. Although, for such tickets, only a small amount depending on the flight and fare rules will be refunded. Also, an extra fee may apply.
