Southwest Airlines baggage policy

Southwest Airlines offers each customer two free checked bags. They must weigh less than 50 pounds and less than 62 inches in total length, width and height.

If your checked baggage exceeds the limit, you may be required to pay additional fees of up to $125, depending on the excess weight. Detailed fares are set out in your Optional Travel Charges.
