You have up to 24 hours to correct any error free of charge on any US airline, whether by changing a single letter or the entire name, that is, canceling your ticket for free and reserving a new ticket with the correct name.
If 24 hours have passed since you purchased your ticket, the above exemption will not apply; You will be charged USD 200 as a name change fee to make the name change/correction.
