The American Airlines (AA) baggage policy for regular base fares includes the following:
The hand luggage.
1 personal item - Free of charge
1 carry-on item - No charge
Checked/Checked Baggage: Applicable fees per bag increase based on the number checked.
Oversized and oversized baggage: applicable baggage fees based on weight and size categories.
Sports Equipment: Certain items may have applicable fees.
