American Airlines carry-on luggage
American Airline passengers are allowed to bring one piece of carry-on luggage on board their flight and one personal item that must fit under the seat in front of them. This would include a purse, briefcase, laptop bag, or similar items such as a tote bag. Hand luggage must not measure more than 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm, including handles and wheels.
Please note: Diaper bags (1 per child), soft cooler bags with breast milk, child safety seats, strollers, and medical or mobility devices do not count as personal items or carry-on luggage.
